Privacy officer

What we collect

Business information. Agency name, contact person's name, email address, phone number and billing details.

Content you send us. Video footage, assets, style sheet and editing direction.

Technical data. Minimal browsing data generated by the site host. We use no advertising tools and no third-party tracking pixels.

Third parties appearing in your footage

Your footage may contain the image and voice of individuals. We process those elements solely to carry out the editing assignment you give us, acting on your behalf.

Obtaining the necessary consents from the people filmed is your responsibility and your end client's.

Why we collect it

To carry out editing assignments, communicate with you, handle billing, meet our legal and tax obligations, and improve service quality.

We do not sell, rent or trade any personal information.

Confidentiality of your work

Each agency's files are kept in separate storage. We do not use any work produced for you for demonstration, portfolio or promotional purposes.

Access to your files is restricted to the people who need to work on the assignment.

Suppliers and processing outside Quebec

We use suppliers for site hosting, file storage, video calls, scheduling and payment. Some of those suppliers, and some of our editors, are located outside Quebec, including in Canada, the United States and Europe.

Before any transfer of personal information outside Quebec, we carry out the privacy impact assessment required by law and govern those transfers through written agreements.

Retention

Footage and working files are kept for the duration of the assignment, then for up to ninety days to allow for revisions and redelivery. They are deleted afterwards.

Billing records are kept for the period required by applicable tax legislation.

You may request early deletion of your files at any time.

Security

Access restricted to the people who need to work on the assignment, two-factor authentication on storage accounts, and encryption in transit.

Privacy incidents

In the event of an incident presenting a risk of serious injury, we notify you without delay, along with Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information, as required by law. An incident register is maintained.

Automated decisions and AI

No decision concerning you is made on an exclusively automated basis.

Assistive tools may be used in the editing process, for example transcription used to generate captions. Your footage is not used to train third-party models.

Your rights

You may request access to your personal information, its correction or deletion, withdrawal of your consent, and portability of the computerized information you provided to us.

We respond within thirty days of receiving your written request.

Complaints

If our response does not satisfy you, you may file a complaint with Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information.

Cookies

This site uses no advertising cookies, no social media pixels and no behavioural tracking. Only cookies strictly necessary for the site to function may be set by the host.

Changes

This policy may be amended. The update date appears at the bottom of the page.
